History

EAS Labs was founded by Arthur Hernandez in a one office suite on January 1st, 2007 in the Wells Fargo Building at the corner of US Highway 290 and Hollister Street in Houston, Texas.  Mr. Hernandez, Owner and Laboratory Director of EAS, has extensive environmental experience including management of several environmental laboratories in Houston and Baton Rouge.

In April 2011 EAS expanded, increasing office space by six fold.  Prior to advancing into the analytical sector of the industry, Arthur worked as an industrial hygiene technician, air monitoring technician, project manager and an asbestos surveyor giving additional insight into the needs of our clients.
